There is nothing better than summer. All that sun, the vacation… the occasional flood depending on where you live… But back to the better aspects of summer! Summer is about ice cream, shorts and those hot summer nights (if you catch my drift). You don’t have to be a Grease enthusiast to know that being able to stay out longer and without fear of getting frost bite makes those summer nights all the more perfect for summer flings and summer affairs. Now, if you’re someone who wants to have that perfect summer date with your affair partner, but are short on creativity you don’t need to go any further than here.
We polled our female members in order to find out what they thought would be the best places to have a summer date and came up with the following three choices.
“Any place with a patio.” Summer is a time for not staying cooped up indoors so if you’re going to go to a restaurant, go somewhere where you can eat outside. We’re not saying take your date to a hot dog stand, but there if there are some really nice patio restaurants near where you live, take advantage of them! There are also rooftop lounges in some cities where you and your affair partner can make the most of the night while indulging in fantastically good (and usually expensive) cocktails. These specialty bars sometimes have a theme which can give an interesting and exotic edge to your choice.
“The Beach.” What kind of people would we be if there was no mention of the beach in the summer? There are often special events going on depending on which beach you’re going to so you can try to go for a night where there are fireworks or maybe a live band depending on where you live. Even if you don’t live near a beach there are often places by lakes and rivers where you can rent cottages so maybe you can have a weekend long extramarital affair. Word to the wise though, if you’re going to bring someone with you for an entire weekend then make sure that you get along with them beforehand. You’re going to want to bring along an affair partner you’ve known for awhile.
“A romantic picnic.” You’ve all seen them in movies, but picnics are surprisingly easy to plan. Make sure that you’ve either bought food for the both of you or made something that will keep even without proper refrigeration. Common things to avoid would be things like egg salad or any sort of milk product, but you can bring fruit like strawberries with you and feed them to each other. Most places where you can picnic don’t allow the drinking of alcohol, but in some places you can get a permit to drink there or you and your affair partner can have some (spiked) punch to help you while away the hours. If you only have small parks in your area and still want to make it special perhaps you could consider having a picnic at night. Some candles and the star light to keep you company will set the mood for any occasion.
