Agency caters to married people wanting to cheat

According to a recent University of Florida study, cheating on your spouse is getting easier, thanks to the Internet. One of the most popular cheat sites is based in Toronto.

The Ashley Madison Agency, for when "monogamy becomes monotony" is marketed to married men and woman who want to have an affair, but don't want to leave their marriage.

It's the brainchild of Toronto's Darren Morgenstern. He says he saw a market for philandering partners.

"Let's face it, we're sexual beings and some of us will always find a way to have multiple partners," he says.

Cyber cheaters can browse the romance ads anonymously, and for free. But if you decide to stray, you'll have to pay.

"We don't preach infidelity or adultery at all," he says. "We don't condone it and we don't condemn it."

Morgenstern says he has no moral qualms about his business. He has recently married himself, and says he's just providing a service.

"Would I use it? I have no desire," he told CTV News, adding his marriage is a happy one.

So where are all these cheating hearts? Apparently, the top subscribers to the Ashley Madison website come from Red Deer, Alberta.

Barbara, who's not from Alberta, is a typical user. She found the website online.

"I had a baby and I guess I was happy but it felt like something was missing," she said. Flirting led to two affairs for Barbara, and she plans to have more.

With 300,000 users signed up already, the site is also gaining popularity in the U.S. "We're just going to go gangbusters stateside," Morgenstern says.

Though it has been said that cheaters never prosper, Morgenstern is raking it in. He expects to make $7 million next year.

He says that as long as people as willing to stray, he'll be able to stay in business.
